I love coming here I've been a user since 2013 but for personal reasons I won't get into I'm going to be taking a rather long break. I suffer from Bipolar Disorder and it's not good for me to be in environments that cause me to get stressed I'll just say. I have no ill will against anyone here even if it comes across otherwise. Maybe I'm taking things personally but a think a break will do me good.

See you around to anyone that sees this.

I understand. I deleted Discord for similar reasons. Take care of yourself Ruby. Hope you return one day.

Take care of yourself and come back when you feel better again!

It is wise to take a break, if you feel like it.

Everyone needs a break from things now and then, including the internet. I am not bipolar, but I do have my own mental health struggles and can definitely understand the anxiety/stress side to some extent. You take care of you. Don't sweat it, come back when you feel like it!

Take as long as you need and come back stronger. I usually find a well earned break makes all the little things we can worry about day to day feel pretty insignificant after a short while. Best of luck in your recovery! 👍

@Jalex_64 Agreed. When you're on the internet for a period of time, your perception of things gets a little warped. Things tend to feel more tense, and you find yourself restless about little things more than normal. Things just feel uncomfortable. I wholeheartedly agree that time away from the screen, even just in terms of online, can make a world of difference. You start to realize just (as you say) how insignificant these problems are in the grand scheme of things, it's incredibly important and healthy to know when to take a step back.

Idealism and realism are only a few letters apart, it's a fine line between the two. One must be careful not
to step too far on one end, as it could very easily throw the other off balance.
